FAQ'S

Q. I have never shipped a firearm for gunsmithing. How do I do that?

A. Firearms being sent for gunsmithing services can be sent to us by an individual, they do NOT require transfer through an FFL licensee. When shipping a firearm, always insure for the entire replacement cost, require a signature and ensure that all components are protected when packaging. We accept firearms from any of the major shipping agents like UPS, Fed-Ex,  DHL etc. but not USPS. The firearm must be returned to the individual that sent the firearm to HNR Gunworks.

Q.  Where do I send the gun to?

A.         HNR Gunworks

            3238 S Florida Ave

            Inverness FL 34450

Q. What do I include in the package?

A. Please MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE a copy of your drivers license with CURRENT address (NO PO BOXES) e-mail and phone number. Please download our repair form below and include it with your gun. Please describe the work you wish quoted or the exact mechanical problem you are experiencing. Remember to include the entire firearms, all parts and magazines so we may test fire if necessary. Exceptions can be made for some services like sight installs.  We will contact you once we have had a chance to look over your firearm with a quote.

Q. My tracking number shows my firearm was delivered and signed for. How long before I get a quote back?

A. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the processing to take place before we can make contact about the repair.

Q. How much does it cost to have my firearm repaired?

A. We do not charge per hour and every case is different. Quotes will be an estimate on an individual basis and will include labor and any parts required.

Q. I sent my firearm in for repair but was told it was not reparable or I refused the quote. Do I still have to pay for the quote and return shipping?

A. A one hour estimate charge of $25 will be charged and normal return shipping charges apply.

Q. How long does it take to perform a restoration or repair?

A. HNR strives for three to six week turnaround times, but most work is completed sooner.
